AirDC Portable is a software tool based on DC and StrongDC , and helps people connected through central hubs to share and copy files from one another.
This is also the portable version of AirDC , meaning the installation process can be easily skipped. As a result, the Windows registry and Start menu/screen do not suffer any changes, and upon its removal from the hard drive, there will be no leftover files.
In addition to that, you should know that by dropping the program files to a USB flash drive, you can use AirDC Portable on any computer you have access to, by simply double-clicking the executable.
The interface is highly intuitive, which means that both experienced and novice users can find their way around it, without encountering issues. Furthermore, it contains a menu bar, a few shortcut buttons and several quick-to-access tabs in which you can view details regarding the actions performed and the hubs you have connected to.
The app comes bundled with a long list of public hubs you can access, along with name, description, number of users and shared items, address, country, minimum number of slots and rating.
You can use a powerful search function in order to find files that might interest you, according to a keyword. You can refine your scan by only looking at users with free slots, excluding particular words, providing the format or minimum size.
It is possible to view network statistics, use a notepad, change language, establish download locations, colors and fonts, select which files to share, view download and upload queue, add hubs to favorites and view system logs.
